Information & Listener Support
WEOS is a non-profit public radio station, providing 24 hour a day broadcast
services to the Finger Lakes area of New York State. We are members of NPR, PRI,
and Pacifica, and we have received the encouragement and the support of our
listeners. Many of our listeners appreciate the diverse programming and the
ability to receive a clear, public station in their area.
As a public
radio station, WEOS depends on support from
our listeners. It also gives us a vote for which programs you like to hear.
You can support
WEOS in a variety of ways, including gifts in kind. This includes the donation of your
car! In return, members receive the latest news of WEOS, program schedules,
and offers of WEOS member only items and events.
In addition, businesses support WEOS by underwriting our programs and
operations. In return, they receive on air recognition of their support, linking
them with the fine programming of WEOS.

WEOS is heard in Ithaca at
88.1FM. WEOS does not own this translator nor does it receive any support from
the group that owns it. WEOS does pay for the programming you hear on 88.1FM,
including Democracy Now, Free Speech Radio News, NPR and PRI programs, and other
programming. We hope that you will continue to support WEOS in its effort to
bring you these programs on 88.1FM.
